30 gallons @ 29.9 cents per
A local supermarket has an affinty program...buy so much food and get a discount on their gas. The posted price was $2.699. I got 30 gallons for $8.97, on a cash back credit card!
Yeeeeeaa me!
Took forever, and I had to buy 25 gallons worth of gas cans.

YEAH!!!! We do the same thing at Gordy's. Certain food has cents off coupons.

you guys have it sooo good over there - I'm currently paying £1.179 (roughly $1.78) per LITRE of diesel, gas is £1.139
its just not funny

About $6.50 per gallon...ouch!

Yeah, but I bet that if you comparison-shopped supermarkets that don't have the program, you'd find that the food you bought cost... oh, about $80.97 more than if you'd bought at a different store. TANSTAAFL!

Naaaa, not really, that's why it took forever!
The lunch wasn't free, that's what paid for the gas.
