No ... it did happen, and on more than one ocassion, in fact my friends use to love to ride in it just to experience the efffect. Now, this wasn't traveling @ hwy speeds as with the 348 I was always drag racing mustangs, but it was a real effect none the less. And yes the 1960 saw a dramatic cut back in the design of the rear tail.

Not that dramatic, IMHO. Just a more angular shape, and different tail lights.
