I must be
I don't know which "my list" you're referring I don't have any list of Cd anywhere..

Two things:

A) Cd means very little, CdA is what has ANY meaning! Cd as such is just something that as it seems has been used to make something not so great same great to the ignorant consumer (myself being one too on this topic until very recently!)

B) You are talking about cars from VERY RECENTLY in the whole perspective I am talking about, THAT IS MY POINT, you are apparently (deliberately?) missing?

P.S. Not sure if you have a Toyota or Skoda as you seem to indicate differently on different sites...?

Your link has a list - that one. I'm not deliberately missing the point, although I am missing the point I think

We have a Prius and an Aygo (as per left). My fuel log has my old Fabia VRS TDI in it.

[QUOTE=Arragonis;278577]I checked your link, the Sierra was 0.34 - which column are you looking at ?[quote]

I am not talking about the irrelevant two dimensional value of "Cd" if your into driving a two dimensional cardboard piece then it matters, if your car has THREE dimensions then CdA is what matters, and it seems the German site might be using some other unit of measurement than the CdA:

Please do more homework on this subject! pictures on the internet can be decieving, it is only when you have actually seen/touched/and been in them on both sides of the Atlantic it becomes evident that they in fact have NOTHING in common (I am sure some mechincal part(s) could be shared) but the car as a whole has nothing in common! As for Ford world cars, that have been in the US, they are very few Capri, Sierra, Mondeo, Focus (Mk1) are a few that come to mind quickly. Most of those never saw any serious success aside from the Focus.

Again NOTHING IN COMMON:

European (and other) Ford Escort:

"The two vehicles were intended to share component designs, but separate engineering organizations and government regulations made this impractical"
"Platform Ford 'Erika' platform"

US Ford Escort:
"The North American Escort adopted both the badge and the general design of a redesigned European model"

"Platform Ford CE14 platform"

I do not *have* any list anywhere, I have posted countless links posted.

I am not into playing whatever geek games you think this is, all I can say is please read up on CdA and Ford Escort too

I shall take a look at that list. So what about the figures from the early part of the 60 year period ?

I sit corrected What were the differences under the skin ? And what was the point of them developing it as a single car then ? I know it as project Brenda...
