Cool 600$ car getting 53.93mpg!

I'm so happy with my latest tank average.
I was shooting for 50mpg and I ended up @ 53.93mpg.
Last tank was good @ 48.5mpg.
Yaa! Mpg dance!

Wow that's ridiculous in a good old sentra. Did you already get around to the underbody and whatnot? With that kind of FE you could expect a lot more than $600 if you ever decide to sell it.

Thanks. No underbody just vac gauge, lots of psi in the tires, Passenger mirror and antenne removal. I would buy a scan gauge if I had a VSS but this old car has a spedo cable.

Congrats on the MPGs! Old cars aren't bad just forgotten. Proof is all the cheap parts in the wrecking yards. It's worth fixing up the old ones, especially when they cost next to nothing.

Yay! Maybe your Sentra is a lurking MPG Rock Star (in the right hands).

Thanks guys, I'm liking this little car and appreciate the input. My family and I moved 20 miles from my work(compared to about 3) so the Hypermiling has been very rewarding. I have some maintance and mods planned and expect the MPG numbers to keep going up. I love this site!
