815 miles on bikes in January

More miles than either of our two cars individually, although not combined. Last January we had snow and ice on the ground for almost the whole month.
Average bike mileage probably about 67 MPG combined in the winter.

I've been on my bicycle all winter so far. Only wiped out once and only have one ear with peeling skin from frostnip!

I'll never beat Frank, he probably finds enough change on the road to buy his gas.

What gas?

Even after all this time, I still managed to astonish GF by bicycling through the snow to fetch pizza! She almost forced me to take a car but I resisted.

I could almost always ride Teresa during this winter... until the last week.
Now the weather turned for the colder. It's around -10C (14F) outside, so I removed the battery from the bikes and put them on charger. If I believe the forecast I won't ride again for at least a week. Or two.
So this January didn't give me more than 4-500km on the bike (like ~300 miles).
But at least I found a way to work from home sometimes, that definitely saves ~4 hours (7km walk and 16km by bus) on those days when weather makes me save gas.

My commute is about 35 miles each way so 35 miles a week - I only missed riding my motorcycle 2 days in January due to snow and ice....
