Was your old motor a CVCC head as well? (plugs on the side, not the top)

Polymer - '89 Civic Hatch Std 4 speed
90 day: 51.49 mpg (US)

Woodstock - '69 Midget 1275

Neither one is a CVCC head. They both have plugs right in the middle of the cylinders. They're both 16 valve heads.
The only obvious difference between them is that the HF head has roller rockers.
There are other differences - the intake manifold has an injector for each cylinder on the HF, and only 2 injectors for the Std. (I'll be using my Std manifold still)

It'll be some time before I get back to this project, but I'm picking up the motor tomorrow.
