98 Civic project

I have a 1998 Civic I commute up to 150mi per day in and have decided that the oil companies already have too much money from me. Not ready for electric as I want to see what battery prices do.
Had been getting 37mpg since new plugs and wires in Mar.
Had to cut bumper cover off to open hood and got much better mileage without factory bumper on.
Got some coroplast from a few local sources and have been tinkering.
I'll post pics when I have something.
Any advice would be appreciated...

Illinois law does not require side mirrors, but it does require bumpers.
Would a single bumper/hood be worth the cost or should I just work with what I've got (a limited budget).

stickys

edinhell,
I recommend you look through the stickys and mod-data info to get a sense of your options,manpower,cost/benefit,and see if something doesn't jump out at you.
basjoos' AeroCivic should be considered the upper limit for modding.
You'll want to 'work your way back',adding drag reduction as you move to the rear of the car.
