I just grabbed that image randomly from the Austin EV page.

They have Citicar/CommutaCar/CommutaVan all grouped together.

Just wanted to give a a rough example of what they are.

I swapped out the photo above, hope I got it right this time!

No I didn't get it. It ended up being just a shell, and I don't have the time nor money to build one from the ground up. I think I'll get a ninja 250r instead.

What do you mean just a shell? Is there anything beside the tires on it?

I would love to figure out how to make "body kits" for citicars, because the shell can sell for alot of money, you are never going to find a citicar that has been sitting that has good batteries, the inside is so simple it can easily be replaced, right now on Ebay there is a citicar with cracks in the ABS plastic body, no batteries, no title (parts car only!) and is up to $2,500!

Right now it is the chassis, body, parts of drivetrain and the wheels. Everything else is gone including the windows. Guy might have parted it out.

It sounds like what is there is the kind of thing that without a title has sold on Ebay for $600-800, if you can find the owner and get the title that easily adds another $1,500-2,500 on to the value of a vehicle in that kind of condition.
the windshield and rear window are just flat safety glass, side windows are going to be plastic side curtains that you pull off on nice days, they often need to be replaced anyway, The body is the first thing to go, it sounds like at least most of it is there, so it sounds like you have found a great candidate for restoring, or at least investing the time in to tracking down the owner, and re-selling.

Howdy.

TD from over at Endless-Sphere.com/forums... greetin's to all.

I can confirm that the blue car pictured above is a Citicar, not a ComutaCar. As stated in EValbum, it was upgraded to 60V by a previous owner, hence the big front bumper.

Kinda funny to be surfing the net and find a picture of my car. I don't even remember what I was originally lookin for...
