Your numbers are pretty good, actually. My Caravan had the smaller engine and still struggled to get 25mpg on my best day. You're doing about that or better pretty consistently, so you seem to be doing something right.

I don't know what it is about those Caravans, but they're just gas pigs. I guess it must be because they're so heavy with lousy aero treatment at the rear, rounded corners that ruin flow separation.

25+ MPG today on 89.9 miles, Tire pressure set at 46 the previous day.

Tank #20, Trip Set 3:

Trip Leg 1; Cold Start + About five minutes idling in driveway; 17.2 MPG, 0.31 Gallons Used, 198 FWT Max, 5.3 Miles, 3555 RPM Max, 0.3 Hours (Started at about 12:14 PM, Off at about 12:34 PM), 47 MPH Max, 17 MPH AVG, $0.93 Cost, Tank screen read 21.8 MPG.

Trip Leg 2, 33 Miles on I-80: Start FWT: 152 (Went down a bit, About 6 after in parking lot then back up), 28.2 MPG, 1.79 Gallons, 195 FWT Max, 50.7 Miles, 4812 RPM Max, 1.0 Hours (1:00 PM-2:04 PM), 67 MPH Max, 47 MPH AVG, $5.39 Cost. At this point the tank screen read: 25.4 MPG.

Trip Leg 3: (Includes going up a steep hill) 23.6 MPG, 0.39 Gallons, FWT: Start 179 (Went down as usual), Max: 190, RPM Max; 3842, Time on Trip: 2:15 Start, 2:35 End. MPH Max: 63 (Too fast for that road), MPH AVG: 27, Cost: $1.17.

Trip Leg 4: Gauge went derpy, Saved for reference; MPG: "2.7", Gallons used: "1382", FWT Start: 179 (Before the coolant cycled through the engine. Then I went to pick my Father up in the parking lot and turned car off, Which triggered the Gauge derpiness), "FWT Max" read "317", Miles read "Minus 2763", RPM Max read "C785", Time: 2:34 (Then off in one minute), Then on again at 2:35ish, Then off at 3:37, And Gauge read this as "23.8 hours", MPH Max: "124", MPH AVG: "99", Cost: "$4,147".

The today screen at the end of the trips read as: 26.7 MPG, 3.36 Gallons, 198 FWT Max, 89.9 Miles, 4812 RPM Max, 2.4 Hours, 67 MPH Max, 37 MPH AVG, $10.00 Cost.

The tank screen read as: 25.9 MPG AVG, 4.42 Gallons Used and 15.6 to Empty, 114 Miles, 404 to Empty, 3.3 HRS on Tank and 11.8 to Empty, 34 MPH AVG, $13.2x Cost.

If I went another route I could've shaved 19 miles off the whole trip. But, I still learned.

Odometer read 132,227 at the end.

Granted that's lower than 30, But it's not far below. I know I can get more than 30 in this van in a tank, I've already seen about 28.55 in a whole tank. If I add some mods, Such as these:

Alternator On/Off Switch
TC Lockup Switch
Various Aero Mods

All cheap ones by dollar value, Then I'll get there easily. LRR Tires would help too but the van doesn't need tires yet.

ID:	14400Ill chime in on the "vans" I have a 12 ram cargo van and got a 29mpg over 500 mi.
It does have a 6 sp auto and ive done a muffler delete, K&N dropin, 40 psi TP.
I also have used packing tape to block off the upper 4 panels of the front.
I got the mileage to a run to FL from NC. I did have my scangageII onboard and being new to the forum I see I gotta work on inlet air temp as it was only around 20 above outside air temp.
I was guessin the inlet temp was a cause for the decrease in mileage from the summer but from reading on this forum and now ive been reassured of that. thx
