Acetone?

I saw some stuff on youtube about using acetone. Has anyone done this with success or disaster?

Thanks in advance

negible difference when ran in my rolla...

most I got was a cleaned combustion chamber, from the slower more complete burn, which did improved mileage...

but then I stopped buying acetone and my mpg stayed up, so it wasn't the acetone, it's the slow long cleanse I gave the engine.

so yea, busted

...also, acetone is an excellent "solvent" of gasket materials.

...moreover, it 'eats' rubber and neoprene gaskets used in conventional carburetors--I know first hand!

You won't find (to my knowledge) any scientific test showing a significant effect.

As mentioned, do a search - lots of prior discussions.

and also, I just did 2oz per tank full since I read somewhere all you really needed was that, since if you used anything more than 4oz your MPGs would go down anyways.

found a link...
