aftermarket variable displacement

i found this a few days ago online. just want to ask around and see if any one has tryed it. its (www . fuelsmart . info) (no spaces) anyone try this. thoughs?

any info would be great thanks

Nobody has tried it, but one poster is trying (rather unsuccessfully) to promote his version of it.

Since both of them are simply injector kill switches, you could certainly do the same thing with some wire and a simple switch and save the $295, but I have reason to believe simple cutting out of injectors doesn't save any fuel in the first place.
