It needs to be heavier and taller. A Tesla cannot make do with a 100 km range.

Let's start at the beginning—Amazon and Tesla are not Blue Origin and SpaceX. Although they do share respective owners.

I look forward to Blue Origin making regular deliveries to orbit. And having a manned capsule as cool as the Dragon.

Blue origin won't be going to LEO soon. They're still developing the engine for that, and that even in cooperation with ULA, not on their own.
The comparison between BO and SpaceX therefore is not fair.
Dimensions are hard to find for BO's New Shepard, but it really is a very different beast.
Just look at the thrust numbers. New shepard's engine delivers 110000pounds of thrust pushing the rocket to mach 3.7 to an altitude of 100km. The second stage of the falcon alone delivers 210000 pounds. First stage over 1.5 million pounds. Mach 30ish. To LEO.
