The bit about reconditioning the pack isn't good - way too simplistic, makes it sound easier than it is - plus it exaggerates what you should expect from that simplistic approach. Unless you've got a pack that was barely used, you're never gonna get "95%" capacity and performance back... Having said that, there are ways to bring dysfunctional packs back to being pretty functional, satisfying most of the demands placed on them by the car, at least in the shorter-term. It's not a very high bar... And, BTW, I'd never recommend the "Super Brain 989" - it's not very robust, has issues (timer is inaccurate, voltage readings are way inaccurate on charge and discharge, especially at high rates; power leads melt at the power supply, et al.)...
