Annual state inspection yesterday

At 100,181 miles, the car didn't need anything.

Original brakes all around, and yes, I've had a lot of fun in the car. More than 2/32nd left on the pads, apparently. The tech didn't even give me the "you're going to be looking at front brakes soon" talk.

I'm at 82k on mine. Here's my total repairs after 5 years.

Airbag recall.

Radio antenna leaks in the rain. Silicone caulk to fix.
Driver's door armrest cracked by previous owner. Replace panel, don't lean my fat self on it climbing in and out.

Tires
Oil changes
Wipers
Battery

Charlie, how much maintenance have you had on car?

Is this club only for Fit owners? I have not done the math on my Accord lately, but I consider the maintenance on my two old Hondas to be pretty low. Many people would tell me to replace the car or even be as insane as to tell me to purchase a new one, but I just ordered front brake pads from a Honda dealership for around $50.

How much is a car payment?

I had to replace an injector at 88,000. Replaced all 3 blades a week before the car turned 4. Tires every 50,000, Rain-X and gas as needed. That's it.

I bought a Honda because I wanted a car without problems, and I bought it new because it's a low end car and used didn't offer enough of a discount to make it worthwhile.

I bought mine new, 180k in it, a good portion of its life was driven pretty aggressively when I was younger and dumber, so far it’s had two alternators (one for over charging under warranty, second not charging enough I did myself a couple years ago it was undercharging) I had one coil go bad, so I replaced them all, A upper plenum gasket was bad causing a minor lean misfire until car went into closed loop, and I had a rear main seal done under the extended warranty the car had( it was a very minor leak).
I’ve done front brakes twice I got 75k out of first set with more left I could of gotten out of them, second set lasted almost another 100k, other than the rear hatch leak they are known for( fixed with Toyota fipg silicone) I’ve just changed fluids and tires.
