another idea i have been kicking around
supose you had a hybrid car. would starting out in electric mode up to a certain point to a set speed then allowing the gas motor to take over and the electric cut out help mileage as much as i think it would. the biggest gas usage is during acceleration and by eliminating that should help greatly. isn't this the way the prius works? any thoughts?
