any ideas on how to mount a sproket ?

i had someone give me a 12v motor from a mobility scooter
it looks like it would be a winner for a bicycle but i dont have a clue on how to mount a sprocket to it.

The motor speed is likely to be pretty fast so you'll need a small sprocket, probably the smallest one on the cassete off a bike wheel. This is usually screwed on with a fine thread. Measure this and machine a boss with the thread on it and screw the sprocket on. Bore the hole for the shaft, key it and grub screw it. Bugger, i forgot; the thread is going the wrong way as it's made to tighten when you pedal, your motor will be turning the boss fwd so will screw it out of the sprocket. You could skip the threading the boss bit and just machine it so the sprocket will slide on. Put a few snots of weld on and bobs your uncle! Or you could fit it with bolts like a motorbike brake disc so you can change the sprocket size. Fit the motor with the appropriate brackets, fit your chain and you are rolling my friend! And able to change gears too. Post pics of your progress.
