any tips specific to hypermiling a diesel?

so i have a ford van with a 7.3 international turbo diesel. i am getting about 16mpg around town 20 highway at 55mph.
i feel pretty comfortable with gas engine mods, aero mods etc.. but this is my first diesel and i'm wondering if there are any tips i should know about. thanks guys, -Bryn

In my Duramax with AFE intake, Edge controller on race mode, corsa exhuast, I can get 28 mpg at 55. What mods do you have?

wow, what year is your dmax? mine is 08 bone stock, around 69 mph I get around 21 mpg, that is with regen.

04.5 its the lly motor, the regen is killing your mileage! Wish I had the six speed though. Running 75 psi in the tires btw

I am 60 front, 80 rear, might up fronts to 80 also,
nearly all hwy in my case, and they just repaved I-96 :-)
yeah, I am waiting till my warranty is up to take out the DPF and put in a modder
