I also tested this before my brown underpant incident and also got the 3 good stops and then your out idea.
On this occasion I was in the que for so long I just lost count and like others there was not just reduced braking but actually nearly no braking.
It was very steep downhill - hence the engine off crawl - I used the handbrake (cable) to stop which worked very well.
