Got the gm alternator mocked up. Looks like it was made for it. Took some effort though I must've had it on and off 20 times. I've since disassembled the brackets and painted them all nice as well as the alternator fan. I set it up so if I'm on the road and the alternator goes I can get one from any autoparts store and the only modification I have to make to the new one will be switch the pulley and fan so I'll need to carry a 15/16 and an Allen wrench with me on my travels. But heck of a lot easier than finding parts for the stock Motorola alternator!!!

I got the floor pans from eBay. They have front and rear.

I saw that on the forum. They use the 94+ t5 because of the longer input shaft. I wish they would've produced them before I started on the 72 258 because i couldve used my 71 258 wih the factory bell housing. Oh well

Big block Chevy fuel block off. Short block all ready for Paint. Still haven't had the head redone yet I'm procrastinating.

Inline sixes... I think they just pull the sweetest of any engine made.

You can keep your V-8, your V-6 especially (no matter how many balancing rods they throw in there, it always feels a bit like it's internally trying to tear itself apart). I-4 is ok, but the I-6 layout... those are just some beautiful feeling engines!

Gotta agree with that. Actually, I'd rather take an I6 over a V8 in the same displacement range any day, and would also do so for an I4 over a V6. There is something that makes the V6 seem kinda wrong...

Flat-6 is actually a nice layout too.
