55 miles a gallon...hypermiling rules...in my Escort wagon all the way to Northern Vermont and back...I shut it off and coasted every chance...

I usually get around 40 or so on the highway...but now I keep it around 50 MPH or so on the highway...plenty of room for people to pass...next I want to try vortex generators on the back sides and roof...

Hey Glider. I'm just a bit north of you and work with a guy from Greenfield. Might want to look around on here for a bit before jumping on the VG( Vortex Generator) bandwagon. There are some REALLY good Aero guys on here, and they don't seem very fond of them. If you are cruising up 91 and see a blue VW Jetta with smooth hubcaps and rear wheel skirts, give me a beep as you pass by
