Not earth shattering, but @ 56.53 MPG the Jr. Executive has logged its best tank yet. I thought that was pretty decent considering no EOC was used. Soley achieved by keeping him between 45 and 50 MPH the whole tank.

I read your comment in your fuel log: "painfully slow", and feel your pain. basjoos has that issue sorted out with radical aero mods (good FE @ higher speeds), which may not be for everyone.

Hope you don't mind I moved the thread into Ecodriver's Ed - since that appears to be the basis for your improvements so far.

38 city 44 highway per the 2008 EPA standards (40/48 per 94 standards).

so for hypermiling status I would assume you use the 44mpg hwy rating?Or wou;ld you use 41---the average of the two
