What model and trim level is the car? I'd like to look through the tire rack listings for your OEM tire size.

the size is 195/60/15. I'm most likely going to get the Bridgestone Ecopia EP422's because I can get a set installed for $350 at my local firestone which is a great deal. I won't be doing a lot of winter driving this year, but It'll be enough driving to know if I want to pick up some winter tires to throw on there every year. Or just get a 4wd truck to use in the winters. But that might be a little expensive.

Look up wheel and tire combos in your lug pattern on Craigslist in spring. People will be trying to get rid of sets for cheap.

Lots of fun can be had in the winter... that's definitely true. Practicing my rally skills

Everyone should practise those understeer and oversteer situations when it rains snow or is otherwise slippery. Parking lot or wide road is the best place to do it. When its slippery you don`t need high speed to learn the tricks and in real situation you know what to do and how your car acts...

I wish I had roads like that where I could do stuff like that safely. Any parking lots that are empty at night are patrolled by private police so no one is allowed to do any driving in parking lots which I feel is pretty stupid. I'll keep my eyes open for a low traffic road where I can try my tires out.

There has been only 2 or 3 times where snow has actually been on the ground this winter which has been great, but very odd for cleveland.

Last time we got a decent snowfall, I was doing donuts in a parking lot and I looked over and there was another truck doing the same thing....testing tires is fun.

I used to do this in my '74 Delta 88. But spinning the car 360 degrees and such too ... parking lots were great after a fresh snow. Nice music for it. I see the twisting, but I don't hear your shouting. You must not have been going fast enough!

Black and Green will be rebuilt over decades as parts die--until it becomes a different car. Goal is only 60-70 mpg at posted speeds. I'm not trying for highest possible mileage.

Calculators: standard deviation, Ohms Law, & drag HP losses.
