I am of the opinion that there are no "miracle" spark plugs or spark plug wires. As far as plugs are concerned, if you have a stock engine, as others have said, stick with the OEM recommendation.

As far as wires are concerned, The OEM considers them a replaceable item, and they only last so long. If you don't have misfires, they are probably OK. If you do, and new plugs don't cure it, replace the set with an OEM replacement.

Having said all that, I use Autolite platinum plugs in the 351 Windsors in my boat because they are a PITA to change. I use Magnecor wires because I have EFI and can't tolerate any ignition related noise.
