Hi folks,

I ended up buying a Magellan Road Mate 1412: it's a 4.3" screen, and has a feature to get you around traffic -- and it was on sale at BJ's for $190. Now I just need to find a bean bag stand for it; because at least 3 of these have been stolen out of cars at work -- we have a small parking lot, and we even have a good view out our windows.

The problem with a paper maps is if you don't know where you are, then they are hard to use; and maps cannot speak to you to tell you when to turn. This is a gift for my nephew (we are doing "secret Santa" this year).
