I don't think that will end the debate for the pro-backwards folk. They just want to buck reality too much.

Reality being where you can not drive on the freeway looking through a split/oval window.

How about a car that is Beetle on the top and Aston-Martin Valkyrie on the bottom?

About 45 years ago Sports Car Graphic magazine built a VW powered project car reaching 150 mph at Bonneville. The body was a Fiberfab Jamaican.

If you have the skills to swap the stearing end, and controls. you have the skills to rework the back glass to be a dot windshield wile maintaining/improving the shape.

Thats about how the roof/hood(frunk) would blend with a nice pice of lexan.. I see were the VW chassis would lend it self very well to that. Pie cut the shifter/heater tunnel out bring the foot wells together as a flat floor. Build finders attached to the custom spindles ( extra unsprung weight) good use for your Basalt rock wool fore extremely tight clearance on brake parts easyer to get a good fineness ratio . Through in some of those 29" old school modern model-A wheel/tire set and you are golden. .
Floor pan forward Valkyrie mod. Belt line down . Belt line up 180° + move the hood in place of the engine hatch.and adjust the back of the finders into a boattail and diffuser.
