BEWARE! Fundamentallogic.com not responding to MPGuino purchase!

Just so the community is aware...

I placed an order with Fundamentallogic.com for an mpguino kit three weeks ago. It has not arrived. I've contacted them multiple times (phone and email) with NO response.

Fundamentallogic.com sells mpguino kits for spiffie.org (the site that is linked to from the mpguino wiki on ecomodder.com)

Beware ordering from them. I'm curious to see how this will be resolved (if I will get any resolution at all).

they always took a really long time to fill orders. usually people didn't get their orders for over a month.
They also took an order for two pre-programmed atmega328 chips from me, and never filled it. (we are talking months)
You put it on a credit/debit card, so you should call your card holder and see what their policy is on returning your money. Mine (VISA) said I had to go through the bank, since it was a debit card. I contacted the bank, and got my money back.

Wyatt,

I have to sympathize. I have had an order in with Fundamental logic for over a month now. I hope that eventually the order will be shipped, but since I hadplaced that order I found the Arduino components and have assembled my own.

If anyone has connections at Fundamental Logic I would strongly encourage them to try to convince them to correct this behavior. I don't like to post this sort of information about businesses, but this is an exceptional case.

I would encourage people to assemble their own MPGuino for the a first time, it can be educational and is helpful in understanding how it works. I assembled mine using a Duemilanove and a 16X2 character display.

Fundamental Logic also makes some stuff that was featured on hack-a-day, and one of the posts is here. One of the posts towards the bottom mentions a personal email address for one of their customer service reps. Even though the post is a few months old, I would try emailing them, and seeing if it can be worked out.
