You won't feel those few kg that easily.
You will feel a reduction in drag however ...

I was averaging somewhere around 27km/l at my usual speeds, Now I was able to see 29-30 without any special effort.
My guess is you're going to see a record tank - likely a few record tanks in a row ...

Now it's time to fiberglass my new hatch, put some bondo and paint it. Don't know what color I should use...
That BMW dark blue is a nice colour.
I wouldn't paint that Kammback in any other colour, nor add stickers etc.
Dive under the radar

You can probably find the original colour in rattle cans (Motip etc.) and those will be a very good match.
Gloss it over in 3 or 4 thin layers, and it'll look like it came out of the factory like that.

While you're at it, paint the wheelskirts as well.

I know that it's not easy to feel the difference in weight of the car, so i presume that was just my imagination, but drag reduction was fairy easy to feel. Especially during coasting.

And of course I'm hoping for some good tanks.

Regarding color... Probably I'll listen to your advice, but who knows, maybe I'll get a bit more creative... We'll see about that. And of course RW skirts will be in the matching color.
