I haven't bought wipers in quite some time... I use Jamak silicone wipers, and they're still working fine after like 2 years. I don't think I'll be replacing them any time soon, and they were only $3.47 each at Wally World. They've got a lifetime warranty on them, though the shipping to fulfill the warranty is almost the price of buying a new one... go figure.

You can break the airfoil and most of the attachment clip off Bosch Icon blades for an even lower aerodynamic profile, but your wipers may lift at 75mph if your wiper arm springs are weak. But why would you need wipers at 75mph?

I used to have these and although the blades themselves lasted a long time, the bracket that connects them to your wiper arm is weak and mine snapped into pieces I wouldn't spend money on them again. I'm perfectly happy with my $5 K-mart mis-matched sized wiper blades and Rain-X.

Thanks for the tip. I got the Bosch Evolutions last year and haven't had any problems, but I live in tame-weather Los Angeles. I will keep an eye on them.
