BSFC Chart for d15z1 (Civic VX)

Looked for it in Wiki and on here. Found nothing. Also trying to figure out how a BSFC chart works.

If you can't find it with a quick internet search and it is not in this thread, then you are pretty much out of luck.

http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...-got-1466.html

I contacted mercedes about getting a bsfc map for my dad's car, and I told them in the email that I don't need the effing numbers, I just wanted the shape of the map, they said it was confidential. What is confidential about the SHAPE of the map?!?!?

I may contact honda and see if I can get a J-series map, they will probably say the same thing that MB said. I'm gonna make sure to emphasize that I don't need any numbers, probably will attach an example map with the numbers removed just to make it clear.

So yeah, you are probably out of luck.

That sounds about right. I tried searching a little in that thread too. I'm 95% sure I was thorough and didn't see it.

Yeah, BSFC maps are pretty hard to get your hands on. We have a few in the wiki, but not a ton considering the number of engines out there.

For my Insight, which has a fairly similar (minus one piston) engine, it's 1750-2250rpm at about 75% load, in stoich burn. I don't think there are any BSFC charts for lean burn, but I'm going to speculate that peak efficiency might be at a slightly higher load.
