Yeah, when I moved here from California back in '05, the summers here clubbed me over the head. Not having a/c has really allowed me to acclimate to the summers a lot better even than most natives here...and I sometimes have to run the heat to vent a little excess from my motor when it hits 220*. It's a great little side bonus I hadn't bargained on.

if it's so hot i need(want) to run A/C, i turn it on when i'm coasting down hills, and turn it off when climbing. level ground i cycle as needed to keep from having a heat stroke.

My Geo doesn't have A/C, and the fan doesn't work. My truck I use A/C because I can't get over 20mpg with it no matter what I do.

I'm with you Madison. My Civic has no air, so I don't have to worry about turning it on! Problem solved I do roll down the driver's window depending on how hot it is outside, though. For the most part, I keep it as high as possible.
