CAI to WAI conversion

So I finally got around to start working on my WAI conversion for my neon. I decided to do it a little... different. I wanted the capability of having a CAI when power is needed, but WAI all other times.

The intake I had on it was already a CAI of sorts. I wanted to utilize the existing location, but still pull warm air off the exhaust manifold.

Here's my "concept" I came up with. basically, a 3lb coffee can with the bottom removed, then pipe in the 1.5" hose to the exhaust system. The lid will stay on for now to make it strictly a WAI, but eventually do some sort of plate system that can open up at WOT to insure maximum cold air for the most power. right now, it's just all duct taped together as ugly as can be as it's a temp experiment.

A couple of changes that will come up shortly...
-Better opening to can instead of hole near rear like it is now. Probably make something that goes the length of the can and drill 2 more holes to insure good flow.
-Build "enclosure" around exhaust manifold that will let the intake pull in maximum heat.
