Can I turn off "Popular topics" individually?

Hi,

I took the "hybrid" quiz in the hope the "Popular topics" would go away but now this is just annoying:

I don't mind those who choose to look at painted metal shells and believe they have many places to enjoy their interest in that art. Just I would just like the 'dirty finger nail' and skinned knuckle crowd could have places were we can look at gears and stuff. <grins>

Now I don't mind coming to the "Web" forum and seeing something like this:

I just went through my "User CP" but could not find an option for turning "Popular topics" off. Is this something that another financial contribution will help fix?

Seconded. Popular Topics doesn't present anything that interests me, and it is fairly annoying.
