Can you retrofit a CVT transmission?

I have a Focus zx3, manual.

My question, could I get a CVT transmission in there when the clutch goes out?

I am going to work on it this summer and I have 2 plans;
1) Replace transmission with CVT and rebuild engine
2) replace transmission AND engine with motorcycle engine/transmission.

?
