A car's "rake"

I forget this word, is it old school? The last I heard it out loud, it was related to hot rodding.

There is lower suspensions, front air dams, wings....and rake.

the angle of the car to the ground. positive rake is nose down, negative rake is back down nose up. level is zero rake.

I just read an article claiming "the lower the better". if you've 90hp and not a boxer, havadit. I have tried the lowering stuff, I must be exceeding the slow cruises on perfect streets. Positive rake for me, if to have a more generalized opinion to write to the world, a hot engine up front is expanding heat...a massive amount mind you. A postive rake is a trick for the expansion to equal nature by the back of the car arrives. I still do not use air dams or lower car. Talk to me...should I change my ways? I have a 14.6 foot long sube with a boxer, would like to start tinkering with other setups aside from oe. I am already acheiving fantastic mileage, but there must be more to do. I see aerodynamics is a big subject here.

Look into low-rider hydraulics, and you can have any rake you want, any time you want .
