I have no idea what mine is. I heard somewhere that .42Cd is about right for a hardtop, but I have a droptop and I'm sure putting the top down tanks that further...

...what's the "consensus" thought on the "round-off" number (0.80-0.84, etc.) that's applied to compensate the "rectangular" area value (width x height - gnd clearance)?

...I've seen anything from 0.80 through 0.90 being used, but 0.84 seems most common.

...also, anybody know the CdA for the original Studebaker Avanti that turned 171 mph at Bonneville?

Added the GMC Sierra XFE and 2001 Ranger to the list, including height and width. If anyone wants to take a guess at frontal area and therefore CdA, please do. The Sierra XFE claims "best in class Cd of 0.412".

I dropped the wiki data into a spreadsheet to answer this question. 100% of the entries are between 0.81 and 0.87, and 90% are between 0.81 and 0.84.

...what does the distribution look like--centered or skewed?

...if skewed, then in which direction--down toward 0.81 or up toward 0.84?

...I'm guessing it's skewed downward with the central (mean) value around 0.82 rather than 0.83.

Okay, I just added two, I mean three vehicles:
Dodge RAM 1500 QC 2002-2008 (I own an 07). Cd = 0.52 (ouch) Frontal area = 35.1 (ouch!) CdA = 18.25
Dodge RAM SRT10 2004-2006. Cd = 0.45 Frontal area = 34.6 and CdA = 15.57
Dodge Avenger 2008-2010 (wife owns an 08). Cd = 0.326 Frontal area = ? CdA = 8.2
Most info I got from allpar.com, and the regular RAM info I think I got from DodgeTalk or Dodge.com. (Avenger stats: 2008 Dodge Avenger cars - specs and stats)

I wanted to put Barn for the first part of my RAM's dimensions, and door for the other, but I didn't think the webpage would compute if I did.
When I discovered the SRT10 was so much more aerodynamic, and the previous generation RAMs were about the same, that started my aero campaign...
