No, this won't be out for quite a few years. I don't think they have even chosen the batteries they will use. That's the major thing keeping this vehicle from going into production at this point.

Well they have to put something out to counter all the TV ads from Toyota about their next gen (plug-in?) Prius and from Honda about their upcoming compact hybrid!

I find it interesting that it is a CHEVY Volt.

The EV-1 was leased through Saturn dealerships, but it was branded generically as "GM".

It's like last time around, General Motors didn't want an electric car associated with any of its particular car line-ups, but now the specifically chose a particular brand this time around.

Does this bode well or ill for the Volt?
