I recall Chrysler's media hypefest over their "Patriot Hybrid". Chrysler Patriot hybrid-electric racing car

That went nowhere. How far this one goes remains to be seen.

"Pea Pod" - I love it! I knew I would have this Pod, that Pod, another Pod minor argument about with who had the first Pod! Now people will think I stole that name (which I actually did- from Zap)! That plug-in is becoming a problem for me. Plugging either or my trikes was no problem, but plugging in my City-EL is ruffling a few feathers- they see it similar to having the whole apartment complex paying for my "gas".

Very cool. It would be awesome if they could bring the cars to market. They have been sending out teasers about the Jeep EV for quiet some time now

Like Frank said, I'll believe it when I can buy one. But, I honestly don't think they have much choice. They have to do something. I do like the option of a hybrid minivan. Nobody has done one yet.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I just read about the Jeep EV on a couple different websites and I have to say that I am excited now.
I am a Ford man by birth, but I was looking forward to the release of the Chevy Volt because I truly believe that is the short term fix we need. But now I read that Jeep is looking at doing a 4dr Jeep EV! I think I'll wait a little longer to see what else is on the horizon and if Chrysler can make it through these tough times.
