Civic VX Cali to Fed ECU Question

Hey everybody, I was hoping someone could clear me up on my cali to fed swap Im trying to do on my vx. I (luckily) have a 92 civic, so all I need to do is swap out the ecu and I should be good to go. I found an ecu on ebay cheap but it has the serial XXXXX P05 A02, will this work for my 92? Thanks!

You need a P07-A00/A01 ECU to take advantage of the 5 wire O2 sensor...You do have the 92 cali model that has the 5 wire O2 and P07-L00 ECU in there now, correct?

Yes it is the cali model with a 5 wire, but the ECU serial is scratched off. I took a quick look but its dark now. Tomorrow Ill take out the ECU and give it a better inspection. Just got some VX wheels today!

Congrats on the wheels.

You can take off the top cover of the ECU and the part number is usually on a sticker on the long gray connector on the top.

Well in the daylight I could see that my ecu is a P07-L00, but the serial was covered in some nasty grime (probably from my girlfriends feet).

So this ecu won't work?
