I was born in '90, but anyway, until at least '98 tubeless tyres still sounded quite "exotic" to me. When my dad had to get the tyres of a '98 Opel Corsa for the first time, I must confess it was somewhat surprising to me that most tyres for its size by then were tubeless. Well, maybe now I have something else to talk about with a cousin who owns a tyre shop

Yeah in 2015 half of tire buyers want bias treads and 1/3 get recaps on their passenger cars

Also according to data in 1987 it costs $12000 to start a tire shop in 2017
