Comment on fuel logs, facebook style?

When I'm bored and have a few minutes to kill, I often look through the fuel logs to see how other ecomodders are doing. I love that I can sort all the logs by MPG, and then I can see where I rank among other ecomodders.

When I read the logs, I always come upon funny stories about where people went during their tanks. Perhaps they drove down a road that is familiar to me. Or, maybe their spouse drove and ruined their MPG. When I see these little personal stories, I feel an urge to comment and say "hey, that happened to me, " or "congrats on making it to 50 mpg!"

Unfortunately, there's no comment function on ecomodder. I like how on Facebook, I can comment on statuses, pictures, etc. I wish I could comment in the same fashion on EM.

I'll make sure to nag darin to see if this is possible. Shouldn't be too hard to incorporate VB's built in commenting, eh darin?

I think that may be too much. You can always send a private message if you want to start a discussion or leave a comment, like the Wall on Facebook, on user profiles.

No problem, the idea just popped into my head, but it does sound pretty difficult to actually implement.
