It's an archetypal "old lady" car in like new condition. She literally only drove it to church and the grocery store. She left it to her church when she passed away and they used it for a while, but decided to sell it because they really didn't need it.

Replaced fluids and changed the front brakes and my cousin has a car that'll probably be trouble-free for years. Price: $5k CDN

Very similar story & price as my Firefly, except it had less than half that mileage on the clock when I snagged it.
I never had a Toyota before this 99 that was given to me w/ 233K. I'm haveing less concerns than my Honda's that were younger & a 100K less. Better gas mileage too. All mine were stick w/ 4cyl & the best I got w/ any of them was 35MPG. 47.5 is my best with my Scan Guage ii. I was only expecting low to mid 30's when I picked it up. My all around daily driving this summer is 44-45. I'm planning on driving this car until at least 300K @ 243K right now.

Good luck w/ your great find you've got a keeper,
Dave
