He just keeps trying until he finds what works.

I always thought he and Smokey Yunick would make one killer bike if they had gotten together.

But not even close to what Craig's fairings achieved 25 years ago. You might have missed this page:

He still sells the fairings.

That is on a track, and the heading says it was a 125cc, but the chart on the "More" page says it was an 80cc.

So they are in the same ballpark.
