Right, I guess that's what I really meant, is that they added ADDITIONAL batteries, but yes it is still very impressive.

Legality

The issue of legality for these cars depends on where you live. Here in Florida where it's legal to drive with no doors or hood this car would not be an issue. It is certainly safer than most of the dune buggies and go carts you occasionally see on the highway. This is probably why so many shops move to Florida where they can do almost anything with a car and don't have to worry about emissions and government regulation.
