Most tanks are steel now. Your zx3 is one. Oxidation tank will have a tank sealer in and out side will be painted. Wanted alum but all the alum welders in this area are busy with the oil and gas drilling in the area.

And the gas tank is bolted in now. see pic above
need to weld up sides and make the rear section look right.

Any idea on the timeframe?
nope just work when time is ok
maybe spring /summer

And a pic of the rear end when I first pulled in notice how it rolled it in and down..

Do you think you can get a side shot so we can see the angle of the top?

The original CRX top was too steep and it looks like you made it even steeper. Do you plan on adding metal in that area?

Several kerf cuts along the rain channels for the hatch may have made the taper cleaner... probably a little late to mention it now, though. LOL

Nope it will be what it is for now. Dont want it sitting in the garage and never driving and a funny note the front end was on jackstands and about 8" in the air forgot about that lol. Once is driving and getting good mpg tune up all working parts... Then try to streamline a little more
As for the lines now looks good.no buckles more updates as the welding starts..
