My dad sells heavy equipment including one "cutting edge" snow removal system... a snow melter.

Instead of shoveling it into dump trucks and hauling it away, you melt it and send it run off like rain water.

I forget what brand he sells, but they are like these:

That camara man was brave (stupid) to be filming that turbine standing straight inline.

If one of those rocks used for rail bed ballast had been dislodged and thrown at him he would have been a hurt puppy...
