Exclamation D15Z1 (VX) engine

This weekend I'm pulling the D15Z1 from Thrifty Mcgassaver (my VX) and throwing in a rebuilt d15Z1 that I have.

I'm putting it up here for Ecomodder dibs first.

The motor has 378K miles on it and has been serving me well for the few years I've had the car.

The Good:
New timing belt last year
New water pump last year
New Thermostat this winter
New spark plugs last year
Pulled 200 psi even across all 4 cylinders last year
I will be able to include the EGR control box if the buyer is planning on swapping this into something that didn't originally have a D15Z1.

The Bad:
Could use a re-ringing and new valve stem seals (uses about one quart of oil every 2000 miles)
VTEC solenoid may be leaking (some oil on the back of the block but will get more detail once I pull the motor) EDIT: found out the source of oil on the back of the block was from a loose oil pressure sensor.

The Missing:
It will not come with injectors as I'll need them for the replacement motor
The Throttle body that comes with it will need one hole re-threaded for the MAP Sensor
MAP sensor that comes with it may be iffy (I changed it out just before last winter as I was getting a random MAP CEL once a month)
will not come with an alternator
Will not come with an exhaust manifold
No ECU
No transmission
No Axles

I'll be asking $100 for this motor for local pickup. The motor will be located in Champlin, MN. I'll be willing to deliver this motor up to 150 miles away for $50. If you wish to have it shipped to you, please PM me and we can see about making arrangements to do so.

Reseal kits can be had on Ebay for ~ $50 Like this one. And Rings can be had for ~$42 HERE.

If I don't end up selling this motor, I'm thinking I'll see if Basjoos would be interested in it for his AeroCivic as a donation towards his cause.

Any idea how long the swap is taking?
I don't need it as my vx is doing great so far and is hardly being used right now.

I spent the weekend swapping on my car, but I was with friends and goofing around, riding four wheelers and just taking it slow. I did run into a problem with the lower alternator bolt that ate up about an hour.

If I'm really in serious mode with a swap I can have the motor out in an hour. If the replacement motor is ready to go in, then that motor can be in the car in under 40 minutes. Then an hour or so to get everything hooked back up. then maybe another 20 minutes putting in fluids and going around double checking bolts, clamps, connectors, etc.

Ryland - you could always come and pick the motor up and rebuild it at your leisure, then have the motor ready for when you want to swap.

Nacht - Freight shouldn't be horrible on the motor, maybe $100?
