Technique question -
When he was accelorating was his TPS at 46?
I know it is different for every car - but is that in the normal range? i have been trying to stay under 15..
maybe i have not been acclorating hard enough - but that struck me as really high.

i need to search Youtube tonight and see if there are other videos of techniqiues..
I had heard (read) the disucssions about low rpm high load with respect to the BSFC - but did not realize how HIGH that was..

have any of you guys uploaded clips of your techniques?

Accelerating at around 80% load (LOD on the scangauge) is what is generally considered best unless you have an actual BSFC map to look at.

Man - i feal silly - i read all those posts - even looked for BSFC charts for my car on Altima forums - have been using the scangage for 3 weeks now.

It never clicked that that was what that meant.

Now i really DO feal like a Doofus McFancypants.
