Not to be offensive, but are you sure that the doesn't already do fuel cut on decel?
For anybody worrying about pump damage, don't.
Excellant source of good cheap switches are junk yards.
If you have an electronic supply house, they would have good switches as well.
could also consider a normally closed relay, but that is probably just a waste of current.
