Differnt display screen?

I live and drive in AZ land of 90% sunlight.

The standard screen is unreadable when I wear my sunglasses and if I don't ware them I get sun blinded.

IS there a differnt screen I can get for this, like one of those Blue lighted numbers ones??

Have you checked out the Ultra Gauge? It has a blue screen and a fairly large display. I can't say what they are like in really bright conditions, as I live in the great white north.

Thanks.

Yes I plan on replacing my ScanGauge II with one BUT it does not work the same way the MPGUnio does.

Fool the PCM and you fool the scanner.

You can not fool the MPGUNIO...I run both in my car.

sounds like a polarization thing, like if you tilt your head to the side the LCD with your polarized glasses on, it becomes more readable (same problem exists on the blue one).

True, but it is more a contrast thing, very bright sunlight vs dim screen, and yes I have set it as bright/contrast as I can, I have the same propblem with the scan gauge II.

Heck I can bearly see my stock gauges...
