Dimpled Bottom?

At some point I want to cover the bottom of my car, to make it more aerodynamic, and I remembered watching a Mythbusters episode where they covered a car in dimples like on a golf ball. So if I were to somehow put dimples in the material I used to cover the bottom of my car, do you think that would help me get better mileage?

add about 600 pounds of clay to the car and dimple the whole thing and it might help, but any gains at that point would be negated by the extra weight.

I swear I remember seeing a car commercial a few years ago that mentioned dimpled underbelly to improve aerodynamics.

personally i like the dimples just above the bottom.

dimpling the bottom itself just looks like cellulite

There are vehicles that do have dimples on them like the Corbin Sparrow, but even it only has dimples on the trailing curves, if you have a straight smooth run then it's best to keep it straight and smooth, it's easiest to keep it straight and smooth as well.
